About HealthInsuranceFinders.com

HealthInsuranceFinders.com has been a consumer resource for comparing US health coverage options since 2009 — through the launch of the ACA marketplaces, the subsidy expansions of 2021–2025, and now the 2026 reset that raised costs for millions of households.

What we do

We publish free, plain-English explanations of what coverage costs and how the subsidy rules work, plus a calculator built on the official published formulas. We are consumer-side only: we don't sell insurance, we aren't licensed agents, and we never handle your personal health information. Nothing you type into our calculator is transmitted or stored — it runs entirely in your browser.

Where our numbers come from

Premium figures come from CMS landscape data and KFF's published analyses of 2026 marketplace rates. Subsidy math follows IRS Revenue Procedure 2025-25 and the 2025 HHS federal poverty guidelines that govern 2026 coverage. We review figures ahead of each open enrollment and date-stamp every page.

How we make money

Some links to insurance comparison services are affiliate links — if you use them, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. This never changes our numbers or rankings; see our full disclosure.
