Foreign Students Often Overlook the Need for Student Health Insurance Plans

The United States has traditionally been a very popular place for overseas students to come and study. Since health insurance plans are something that is "foreign" to them in many of their home countries, they often do not realize that health insurance plans are something required by most colleges and universities in the States.

As a requirement of admission, foreign students studying at American Universities may have to provide proof that they are enrolled in a health insurance plan.
