Benefits may be reduced or eliminated if not precertified by carrier
$2,500 total for medical and evacuation. For a sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence of a Pre-existing Condition, which occurs spontaneously and without advance warning either in the form of a Physician recommendation or symptoms, and which occurs while coverage is in effect. Treatment must be obtained within 24 hours of the sudden and unexpected outbreak or recurrence.
If three month minimum coverage is purchased, coverage may be renewed without a break in coverage. Renewals are available in daily or one month increments. Renewals less than one month must be completed on-line and will be charged an additional $5 processing fee.
For those who are intending longer international trips a continuing coverage option is available to you. If you chose this option on the application and enroll for at least 3 months of coverage, you may purchase an additional period of coverage, minimum of one month, maximum of 12 months. There must be no breaks in coverage in order to continue the renewal process.
A new deductible and co-insurance will apply for each 12 months of coverage.
For people age 65 or older the plan is renewable up to 12 months only

The ability to renew the policy to extend the period of coverage
Extension of coverage while making incidental trips to your country of origin
During the period of coverage an insured person may return to their country of residence for incidental visits up to a cumulative two weeks total, subject to:
A. The insured person must have left their home country of residence,
B. The total period of coverage must be for a minimum of 30 days, and
C. The return to the country of residence may not be taken to receive treatment for an illness or injury incurred while traveling.
This benefit covers you for incidental trips to your home country.
Maximum benefit is reduced to $50,000 while in your home country.
Coverage will be limited to $5,000 for conditions first diagnosed outside your home country.
$100 for each night of hospitalizacion.
