All Health Net plan members have access to online tools and customer support lines that help them do just that.
Health Coaching
Health Net members have access to a hotline that is staffed 24/7 by knowledgeable health care professionals that can address your health care concerns. Oftentimes, these health coaches can suggest ways of treating your symptoms until you can be seen by a physician, or advise you toward seeking immediate medical care. Questions can be asked pertaining to preventive health care, symptoms, locations for immediate care and much more.
Online Support Videos
Log into your Health Net membership online account and access a library of informational videos that provide you with information on various forms of treatment used to treat the same health conditions. Hear testimonials and feedback from members with similar health issues and learn what works best for them in controlling the symptoms and side-affects that come along with most chronic illnesses.
Online Provider Search
Use Health Net's informative online provide directory to search for participating physicians in your area. You can filter your search by your type of health plan, the type of physician, urgent care facilities, express care access, hospitals, specialists, and much more. Find value information about the physicians and health care facilities, including education history, accreditations, contact information, maps and more.
Supplemental Dental and Vision Coverage
Some of the Health Net individual and family plans allow you to combine your health insurance with dental and vision insurance. The plans are administered through Safeguard Health Plans, Inc. and EyeMed Vision Care and provide access to a large network of participating dentists, orthodontists, optometrists and ophthalmologists.
Life Insurance Plans
You may add a term life insurance policy to your Health Net plan at affordable rates, guaranteed issue. Policies are available for $15,000, $30,000 or $50,000 and may only issued on the primary subscriber of the health insurance policy.
