Arizona KidsCare

KidsCare is a state-sponsored Children's Health Insurance Program for the children who live with low-income families but do not qualify for Medicaid or employer-based health coverage. The subsidized program provides insurance coverage for Arizona children who are 18 years old or younger.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the KidsCare program, the family of the child, who is 18 years old or younger, should fall below 200% of FPL. The child must reside in Arizona and be a U.S. Citizen or a qualified eligible immigrant. The immigration status of the child is not dependent on the status of the parents. Your child should not have any health insurance for the last three months at the time of the application. The child cannot be currently covered by other health insurance and must be a member of a family that meets the income guidelines set forth by KidsCare. Income levels are based on the size of the family and the household income received before any taxes or other deductions. Refer to the income guidelines to see if your family qualifies.

Parents also qualify for health coverage after they meet the income requirements of 200% of FPL.
