- State Health Insurance Risk Pools - Many states have funds available to provide insurance for the uninsurable. This state list highlights those states and their programs.
- Childrens Health Insurance Plans (CHIPs) - In addition to state risk pools, most states also have funds set aside to insure children and often times pregnant women who are unable to obtain their own health insurance.
