From its humble beginnings in Arizona in 1965, Oxford Life Insurance Company has grown to become a fierce competitor in the life and health insurance market, with a strong focus on the Medicare market. A great part of Oxford Life's success has been its acquisitions along the way.
Over a period of the last ten years, Oxford Life has acquired Encore Financial, Inc., Christian Fidelity Life Insurance Company and Dallas General Life Insurance Company. These acquisitions were strategic in the expansion of Oxford Life's Medicare portfolio of product and services. Through its acquisition of the Wisconsin based Encore Financial, Inc., Oxford Life was provided access to North American Insurance Company, one of the industry's largest third party Medicare supplement administrators. All three of the acquired companies remain financially independent of their parent company, Oxford Life Insurance Company.
Oxford Life currently markets annuities and Life Insurance products. Included in these products are the Oxford whole life Assurance product, critical illness insurance policies available to both group policyholders and individuals, and a uniquely designed death benefit product called Advance Wealth Transfer. Advance Wealth Transfer was designed by Oxford Life for individuals interested in transferring wealth to their beneficiaries with minimal tax consequences.
Medicare supplement plans are also available through Oxford Life's subsidiary company, Christian Fidelity. Christian Fidelity currently offers three different Medicare supplement plans in Arizona. Plans available in Arizona are plans A, F and G. Christian Fidelity offers guaranteed renewable Medicare supplement policies featuring electronic claims-paying capability, free prescription drug discount cards, and the freedom for seniors to select the hospital or doctor of their choice with no network restrictions.
