In 1992 Health Net, Inc. converted from a nonprofit organization to a for-profit organization. Health Net of Arizona provides small and large group health insurance, individual and family health insurance and Medicare supplemental insurance to residents of Arizona. They were voted the #1 HMO in Arizona in a public poll released in the 2005 issue of Ranking Arizona. The suite of health products offered throughout Arizona include employer-sponsored plans, HMO plans, PPO plans, POS plans, Indemnity plans, Medicare supplemental plans and individual and family plans.

Health Net of California provides small and large group health insurance, individual and family health insurance and Medicare supplemental insurance to residents of California. Health Net is among the most respected health care companies in California. They have an extensive network of more than 50,000 physicians, 750 physician group locations, and 4,600 pharmacies and more than 2.3 million members.

Health Net of Oregon provides small and large group health insurance, individual and family health insurance and Medicare supplemental insurance to residents of Oregon. In addition to offering quality affordable health care, the Health Net family of plans is accompanied by one of the largest provider networks in the Northwest. Participating providers include in excess of 6,300 health care professionals and more than 35 hospitals.

Health Net of the Northeast is a relatively new endeavor and is comprised of four subsidiary companies. Considered one of the most respected health plans in the Northeast, Health Net provides coverage to more than one million members in the quad-state area.
