I am currently on a Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI individaul family plan. I asked all the correct questions when I signed up but was litterally lied to. This is not the first time. How do I find good family health coverage with pre-existing conditions. I am tired of being lied too by sales persons giving me quotes. Is it against the law to record these conversations?

Can you give an example of what you might have been told by an insurance agent that you later learned to not be true? Since you are asking about individual health insurance with coverage for pre-existing conditions, I assume that it is something related to this. The options available to you are going to depend on the details of this pre-existing condition. Is Blue Cross Blue Shield denying coverage for treatment of these conditions?

We can’t speak to the legality of recording your future phone conversations. You can always ask an agent if they give you permission to record the call. Just knowing that you are recording them might reduce the likelihood of them being misleading.
