How do you get an Aetna NJ Group # 108902 health insurance plan? What are the terms of coverage and eligibility for this health plan?
It is not advisable for you to select an Aetna NJ HMO plan if you know that you will be traveling extensively during the period of your health coverage. Remember, that you are supposed to receive medical care from a physician or health care provider from an HMO’s facilities or are affiliated with HMO. Services that you will get from a non-HMO affiliate will not be covered by the HMO plan. In general, Coordination of Benefits is not allowed with an HMO. So if you already have Primary health coverage through another plan, the HMO will not provide you with coverage. You should then choose a CIGNA Open Access Plus Plan if an HMO is not available to you. To know more information about this Aetna NJ plan, read through the Aetna New Jersey Summary of Benefits and check out the Primary Care Physician Provider Directory. You should fill out an Aetna Enrollment Form to get coverage. If your application did not make it to the deadline date for applications then you will have to wait for the next available Open Enrollment Period to apply.
